Redefining marriage will have consequences for:

Glorious Time Alone

Ahhhh... glorious uninterrupted ALONE time...

My lil' girl is in school and my wonderful hubby took our lil' boy with him to do some grocery shopping.

This is SURELY one for the books! ^_^

As I was savoring this fine occasion, I realize that this has been the single moment that I had some alone time (literally) all to myself since we moved back to Brissy.  Given the work hours of my hubby due to the nature of his trade and having two young and active children, I AM NEVER ALONE.  You have no idea how much I enjoyed the 45minutes I laid on the sofa bed, SLOWLY consuming my fruit yogurt while watching MY kind of tv show.

There is such great comfort in moments like these when all is well with my world and it is just revolving in an unhurried relaxed way.

Thank You, Lord, for blessings, renewed strength and such a thoughtful husband <3

Changes in Citizenship

My family and I are blessed to call Australia our home for the last 8 years. Our journey to acquire our Permanent Residency status has been hard-won due to the tremendously painful, laborious and financially exhausting circumstances we had to go through to abide by the Australian laws. And just when we thought it's smooth sailing from thereon, we get stunned with distressing news that seem to paint a picture of an even more arduous path to Citizenship. We implore the Australian government and Malcolm Turnbull to please abide by your word and your promises to us current PR residents to the path you originally laid down for us towards Australian citizenship. God bless us all!

Exciting Everyday
