We Are All ONE In Christ Jesus

[Galatians 3:26-28 AMP]
"For you [who are born-again have been reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified and] are all children of God [set apart for His purpose with full rights and privileges] through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ [into a spiritual union with the Christ, the Anointed] have clothed yourselves with Christ [that is, you have taken on His characteristics and values]. There is [now no distinction in regard to salvation] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you [who believe] are all one in Christ Jesus [no one can claim a spiritual superiority]."

God Answers & Sets Free

[Psalm 118:5-6]

(KJV) "I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?"

(NIV) "When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place. The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?"

(AMP) "Out of my distress I called on the Lord; The Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can [mere] man do to me?"

(NLT) "In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?"

(TLB) "In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me and rescued me. 6 He is for me! How can I be afraid? What can mere man do to me?"

I Am Complete in Christ

I came across a video of a monk speaking about romanticism that makes us confuse genuine love with attachment.

(See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kUoTS3Yo4g)

Though the things the speaker was saying doesn't even mention the Lord Jesus Christ in the equation, the things said contains very real & true issues of the human heart & relationships--in all its beauty & complexities.  It surely applies to a greater facet of love towards our close human relationships--family, special someone or friends.

I wanna highlight this on the speaker's speech:
"People should come together already feeling fulfilled within themselves & just therefore appreciating that in the other rather than expecting the other to supply that sense of well-being which they don't feel on their own."

Each one of us who've accepted Jesus as Lord & Saviour is already COMPLETE in Christ, whether we feel that or not. What matters is what the Lord says & how He sees us.

[Colossians 2:10] "..and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power."

I particularly like the TLB version of Colossians 2 due to its simple and quickly understandable translation.

Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow

Beware of two thieves in your life. They are called "yesterday" and "tomorrow." They will try to rob you of your present joy. Yesterday will remind you of your past mistakes and mire you in regret. Tomorrow will remind you of your upcoming challenges and try to drown you with worry. - Joseph Prince

[Psalm 90:12] "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom."
